Nurture Place

Clinical Psychology Service for Parents, Families, and Professionals Working with Children and Young People

Welcome to the Nurture Place, a service offering Clinical Psychology and Yoga practice based in Worcestershire and online, specialising in working with women, parents, families and professionals; supporting those nurturing the next generation.

We provide a compassionate space to think about the difficulties you may be experiencing in parenthood, as a family, or a professional, and together we can draw upon psychological tools to move forward and foster hope and growth.

We work from a trauma and attachment informed approach and offer perinatal support around issues with trauma, bonding, attachment, and difficulties adjusting to mothering and parenthood, as well as specialist support to adoptive families and children who are looked after and the professionals working with them. Mothers and women are often the caretakers and nurturers of society, and we specialise in holding a compassionate space to enable women to explore the impact of this experience and to reconnect to their body and its innate knowledge.

We also support professionals and services working with children to become more psychologically aware and informed, understand the needs of the children they support and how to nurture their development and emotional health and wellbeing.

At Nurture Place, we aim to create a place of safety, education and empowerment for those who are holding the task of parenting and supporting children and young people, to enable them to provide a solid foundation from which they, and their children can thrive.
